We had an awesome weekend with friends! The hotel is in a perfect spot near St Mark's Square, and we enjoyed the terrace views while watching the fireworks. Great breakfast options and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend if you want a good blend of comfort and location.
I had an issue with noise. My first room was above the restaurant's terrace, so it was noisy in the evening. They switched me to a quieter room later, but noise from the alley was a bit of a bother at night too.

Hotel Saturnia & International exudes historical charm with its beautiful, rustic decor and well-maintained vintage features. Accessibility for seniors is excellent, with no stairs to manage when entering the lobby area, making it easy and comfortable to navigate.
Improve air conditioning management for warmer months.

Complimentary anniversary Prosecco, Charming rooftop terrace, Unique antique keys for rooms
Limited parking arrangements for vehicles!!! Prepare for noise disturbances during the night!!! The facilities are not complimentary, and that’s disappointing considering the rates!!! Some areas really need a maintenance touch-up!!!

The breakfast spread was a feast for champions, especially the delightful pastries and the mimosa station—pure magic! Plus, the staff were top-notch, making us feel like royalty from check-in to check-out.
While the price tag was a bit steep, the quirky lights in the room were a distraction during bedtime, shining right in my face—definitely something to tweak for comfort.

This hotel is a good option for a weekend rest in Venice with competitive value for money. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well during hot days. To avoid street noise, ask for a room that's not facing the main street.

The rooftop views were breathtaking, and I loved making my own waffles for breakfast. The room was uniquely charming, though it felt a bit dark.
Felt right at home, no reason to complain.

missingWrote a review on Aug 17private dockclassic charmcanal viewsconfusing directions
The classic Venetian charm shines through the elegant decor, from the antique keys to the beautiful wooden accents. With unique features like private dock access for water taxis and stunning views of the canal from the room, it creates a perfect blend of relaxation and local culture.
Upon arrival, directions to the hotel could have been clearer, particularly regarding the water taxi station number, which made finding the place a hassle. The mattress felt a bit firm, which might not suit everyone’s taste, and there was no enlarging mirror in the bathroom, which I think is a standard amenity for four-star places. Additionally, I missed having extra blankets available in the cupboard during the colder nights, which detracted slightly from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
